Indian Judicial system corrupt; needs renovation?

The Indian Judicial System needs a complete renovation. Makeover is the need of the hour as the nation is facing a number of issues at this stage and needs to recuperate from the matter it is engulfed in. But what exactly needs to be done in order to keep such matter sideways. The best way which most of us don't bargain for is the reform system. No matter how many times the common man or the govt. itself emphasizes on it but in the end, the fact is that we are least bother to initiate it.

Is reform the only way forward or does it hold cards for future transparency in the entire system which has completely been over taken by corruption? State of saturation far for the country which is pulling us in backward direction?
How exactly the country needs itself to shape up?

These are significant questions that is drawing the attention of the concerned group of people. But how exactly one would find answers to such questions, through analysts debates, mass campaign or by self introspecting?

Let's try and find out... the judicial system on which one relies for justice and timely verdict is actually a system nobody wants to get involved into, not because they fear but because they have this notion in their mind that the judiciary would bring them down to knees, to a level of no return even if their life ends. Their is a great saying that "Justice delayed is justice denied", which points towards a weak judicial scenario.

Justice might be delayed sometimes but what happens when there is no justice at all! No wonder, those who fight to seek it, loose all their faith and hope that had brought them to the Court of Law.

The burning issue of rape cases have been a grave matter of concern for the entire nation. For Example, The December 16 Delhi Gang rape case led the government to take stringent measures for future cases in order to bring the culprits to book under severe punishment. The Delhi gang rape case in which a young 24-yr old paramedic student was brutally raped and then assaulted with an Iron rod by 6 people inside moving bus is one such case that gave goosebumps and shock waves globally. The barbarity of the case was so heinous that the National Capital was renamed as the Rape Capital of India, people fear to come to Delhi and walk down the streets freely.

But why exactly are we discussing the Nirbhaya case, the fact that the case might have taken 9 odd months to come to a conclusion but has justice really been done so far in the case? The entire nation fought a war against Delhi gang rape accused wolfish act,the Parliament Street was rocked by a number of protests that the Govt. had never thought of. The Juvenile accused who was the one amongst other 6 accused who brutally raped the young girl but still went scot-free with minimal punishment as the provision only amounts to a maximum of 3 years. The Apex court had already rejected changing the age bar.

The law might have looked after the rights of the Juvenile accused but what about the Young girl whose life was cut short. The Court do not seem to have taken a glance at the rights of the victim died as against the juvenile. Sadly, according to Indian Law, a crime of such audacity by the juvenile draws a maximum of 3 yrs imprisonment. Undoubtedly those heartless convicts conscience died way before they inflicted the torture upon that girl as well as her male friend who was brutally beaten up too.

The reason why so many questions have been put across is because we really don't have answers which is the biggest drawback to our own system which seems to be failing an individual looking for Justice. We need to be find answers to all those questions that keeps haunting our society even in the 21st Century. On the one hand, where we talk about development of our society as a whole but what about the mentality which needs to be reinvented with new thoughts, thoughts which mean no harm to others.

Indian society is sadly turning into a huge question mark...which demands answers from its own people. Loopholes in the Judicial system are bright and clear. The slow running of Judiciary is affecting those relying on its outcome.

The nation is rocked by a number of burning issues and the time has come to pull your up socks and take significant measures in order to quickly resolve such matter with Justice prevailing and the citizen's regaining their faith in the Judicial system.
